My Persuasive Writing Letter To The Principal!

W.A.L.T: My w.a.l.t for today is to write a lesson to our Principal at Parkview Primary School.

Dear Mr Thomas, 

 I am writing to you cause I think we should keep the red and black colors on our uniform. The reason that I'm saying this is because, they are our traditional colors and they are the Canterbury colors, and the Canterbury colors make us look kinda smartish. Why I am choosing to keep the red and black colors? I'm choosing to keep the red and black colors because, they are our school colors and people will know us as Parkview School if we keep the colors the same. I think if we change the colors we will not be Parkview School anymore because, we will not look the same and we won't keep our tradition which is the most important part about a great, fantastic, kind and loving school. If we keep the colors the same way we will have memory from them and also we will still be supporting the Canterbury Rugby team. :)

Cats Are Better Than Doggies - Persuasive Writing!

W.A.L.T: Today we are learning to make an argument/Persuasive text. (Own Choice.)

Today I choose Cats are better than Dogs, but of course I love those doggies, I love every animal, its just that I had to chose sometime and some people were doing it so I thought I would do it. :)

I hope you enjoy my writing! :)

I strongly believe that cats are better than dogs because, cats are very small and you can cuddle them, and with dogs they are large and you sometimes can’t cuddle them like you can do with cats.

Firstly: cats are better than dogs because cats are a lot smaller than some dogs and cats can have amazing cute small little kittens, but dogs can’t. Cats are SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOO much FLUFFIER than dogs can be! Not much dogs are as fluffy as cats can be, where cats have lots of fur because they are made with it, but their fur makes them look AMAZINGLY cute and soft and SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOO warm when you cuddle them. It just makes me want to SQUEEZE them to DEATH!!! (But please don't kill them!)

Secondly: With cats you can keep them home for a long amount of time if they have a little tray and they are toilet trained. With dogs if you have them home for a long amount of time they might wee or poo inside and rip up the furniture and maybe even destroy the house and your belongings, they could also get into the food, basically what I’m trying to say, they will destroy the house if they are left home alone! With a cat they won’t do anything like that and your house will be perfect just the way you left it when you get home. So basically with a cat you can trust them leaving them alone for a while, but not with dogs!

Thirdly: Dogs don’t really sleep for that long because they are always full of energy, aren’t they? Well I think they are always full of energy. With cats, cats are quite and sleep with you and don't lick you while your trying to sleep. Also dogs bark really loudly, cats meow not so loud and if they meow loud they only do it at another cat in their territory, which is usually outside so you don't hear it as much.

Finally: Dogs need to be walk all the time and sometimes you don't have the time to walk them. Cats don't really need to be walk, all you have to do with cats to stretch their legs is to let them outside, then get back to your work or whatever you were doing.

Conclusion: Those are the reasons that I think cats are WWWWWWAAAAAAYYYYYY better than dogs!!!!!! So get a cat now and you´ll see why cats are so amazing compared to dogs. If you are allergic to cats still get one they will help you SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO much and fill up your empty heart, (that they melted in the first place because they were so pretty and kind.) (Also cats are filling your heart up with goodness not badness!) You need to get a cat even if your a DOG PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Frozen on the spot mixed state of fear and wonder. Alice and Bob gazed at the strange happenings around them. They felt gazed as stuck in some horrible dream! Cards, some small and some large, darted to and fro in front of their eyes, dancing menacingly as controlled by an invisible threat, as if they had a mind of their own. Confused yet mesmerized, thinking of why they're here. Alice and Bob began to make their way into the dark, ice cold, creepy forest!“Wait a minute!” Bob said confused with himself!“What?” Alice asked. “We seem to be on the television!” Bob Explained. “WOW! So we aren’t endanger?” Asked Alice. “I guess not.” Bob said. “YAY!!!!!!!!” Yelled Alice. But that's only what they thought…  Are they endanger? Are they not?

 Hello Everybody, If you're reading this, you will be horrified!!!

 One night I went with my friends to go skating at this abandoned place, but don’t worry my friends had been there the night before so we were safe. So basically we went in and were heading up to the top floor where the skate park is, and we saw blood on the floor and walls EVERYWHERE… but it was dry blood!!! So we kept on going!When we got higher we saw lots of wet blood and we heard a piercing scream… after that we saw a light behind a bloody door!!! 

WE WENT IN!!!

100 Word Challenge:

It’s Halloween night… YAY!!!!!!! I’m so EXCITED!!!!!! I’m so excited, I’m dressed as a horse and I’m ready to go trick or treating. I’m going with my friend for the first time tonight, I’m so excited. Here’s my friend, Lets go. YAY!!! Wow I really enjoyed my time out, we were out for about 5 hours it was amazing! We are walking to my house for a sleepover now, we are a bit scared because it's so dark… Ahhhhhhh…… We both screamed, there was a shadow that was holding a knife, wait hang on it seemed to be going backwards…...

100 Word Challenge:

On Thursday through to Sunday i’ll be at the Kaikoura Hop. The Kaikoura hop is where you go to Kaikoura and you bring a cool car (others will bring cars as well,) and you enter them into a car show. (You can win something if you come in the top tens, and you are put in the news paper.) After the show you go on a car run at night which is amazing because we go through tunnels and people are racing each other. I’m staying at my nana’s while i’m there and we are going swimming with the dolphins. :)

My 100 Word Challenge. :)

A 100 word challenge is when you do a short stories about something, but you got to make it exactly 100 words. 

Doing the 100 word challenge was really fun and challenging.

Today I went down to my paddock to see my horses. My horses are boys and one of the is 6 years old and the other is 16 years old. The 6 year old is named Rascal and he sort of is a rascal sometimes, he is fresh off the track he used to be a trotter and he is famous from when his mum and dad used to race, his breed is a Standabred. The 16 year old is called Vinny and he done what Rascal done and he is a Standabred as well, I also ride Vinny the most.

My 5 Sentence Challenge.

WALT: Write what ever you want as long as its 5 sentences.Today I done the 5 sentence challenge and I think I done really well. It only took me about 5 mins, and I had a lot of fun doing it.Feel free to comment down below and tell me what you think about my 5 sentence challenge.
My Reflection: I think I done pretty well on my 5 sentence challenge, and I didn't take a whole lot of time doing it. For next time I could maybe make it a bit more exciting.

Here is my Writing:

As I go and open my window I see the sun coming through, I can hear the birds singing happily, and I thought to myself time to get ready. After I got ready I got in my car and went down to see my horses at the paddock. When I get to the paddock I do my chores like the poo and water and stuff like that. Then I brush them and have a ride, our ride was awesome today and Vinny was really good. After leaving the paddock and coming home I have dinner, do my chores and get ready for bed, goodnight.

100 Word Challenge.

Today for writing, we completed the 100 word challenge, which means we had to write a story with this sentence .......... that is exactly 100 words long.

Here is my writing:

As I read the content of the letter, I was aware of the smile on my face. Everyday I would send a letter to my mum. I would says that I got up and made my bed, opening my windows and my curtains, and picking out my clothes and going to have a shower. Then I went to brush my pearly whites, and brushed my hair and do all my bathroom things and I also went to the toilet like most people do in the morning. After the day was done I went to bed again. How was your day?
